Say Hello Little Miss Melanie!

A day in the life of this adorable little lady… is full of laughter, adventure and play.  I can’t think of a better way to spend the afternoon than in the park, blowing bubbles, picking flowers and discovering the scientific elements (she keeps those blocks in her purse), So cute!

With mom and dad behind her there’s nothing she can’t do!
(Well except for frolic barefoot, because she has to show off those pretty little sandals with that adorable purse!)

Mom and dad are so very proud!!!

I couldn’t resist this next image, my absolute favorites, as she played peek-a-boo through the bench!

Who can resist this face!

I had to chase her to get these last few images, while the clever little lady laughed at me as I rolled around on the grass with her!

Thank you Miss Melanie for a lovely morning adventure!

Kibbie Family Lifestyle Shoot at Harvey Farm

A rustic farm, rolling fields, fluffy clouds and sunshine are just a few of the perfect elements that make up this next lifestyle family session set in rural New Hampshire! Just add a rocking family like the Kibbies! Since the Kibbie’s are not your typical family, we had to be certain to not have a typical lifestyle session.
So once we got a few of quick shots out of the way,  it was definitely time to play.

How fitting that Mr. Xach Kibbie strummed the guitar as the kids frolicked through the fields with the joy and exuberance of youth. There’s nothing better than an end of summer day of family fun in a pastoral scene, harkening back to simpler times with none of the disconnection and distraction of cell phones and video games.
Simple pleasures and serenity as seen in this tranquil setting.

This is one of my favorite parts of the shoot! The kids were more than happy to do their own thing.

Here we are below at one amazing farm, Harvey Farm in Epping, NH.

The Milk Room has got to be the best way to end a great family session…even the barn cat, taking a cue from “man’s best friend” to relax and enjoy the dog days of summer.

Melissah and Xach it was certainly a joy to spend the afternoon playing…photographing in the fields with you and your family!

The Tale of: Miss Maggie

Once upon a time, in a Castle by the lake, there lived a little princess name Maggie.
She spent most of her days laughing and playing at the park with her Mom.
Together, they would have great fun as they climbed the Jungle Gym and learned the ABC’s.

But Miss Maggie dreamt of visiting the Fairy Land that dwelt beneath the old Dogwood tree.
It was a land full of merrymaking and adventure, gossamer and frills.
Perfect for little ladies destined to sprout wings!

Being a Fairy Princess was fun but something was missing.  So Miss Maggie decided to leave the merrymaking of her Fairy Land behind to return home.
After all, home is where your heart is and her’s would always belong to Mom and Dad.

Little Maggie’s Big Day: A Winter Christening

This past summer I had the distinct pleasure of sharing in the joy of Erin & Mike’s gorgeous July wedding.  It was not long after that I received word from Erin & Mike expressing their elation at welcoming the beautiful Miss Maggie into their world!  I was overwhelmed with excitement not only for the opportunity to meet this precious little lady but to also photograph her first BIG event!

Miss Maggie’s special day began with a post-morning nap portrait session.  The only thing, other than Daddy and Grandpa, that could make her smile was the mixing bowl… worn upon my head!  Mixing bowl or not… this precious little lady became a treasured subject in a matter of moments!

Look at those eyes!  Just like Mommy’s!

These are my favorite images from the portrait session!

Daddy had had enough of his beautiful girls playing dress up so he stole Miss Maggie away for some much needed cuddle time before her big event.

Is there anything sweeter than a Daddy and his precious, little girl?

In no time we had to say adieu to our portrait session and make our way over to St. Mary Magdalene’s in Tyngsboro, MA where Father Ron was preparing for Maggie’s Christening.

I loved that all the children present were invited up to the front of the ceremony to help Fr. Ron bless the water. All those little fingers were just too sweet!

It was such a pleasure and honor to be able to share this blessed occasion with such a welcoming, loving and warm family!  No family event would be complete without a generations photo (Maggie, Mom, Aunt and Grammy) and my personal favorite from the day!

Congratulations to you all!

Say Hello to the Campbell boys!

A day in the life of this adorable twosome… and budding partners in crime… is full of laughter, adventure and play.  I can’t think of a better way to spend the afternoon than in the sandbox, exploring the treehouse and splashing in the pool.

Sounds to me like the perfect location for future pirate adventures and legends of great battles against mighty sea monsters!

It was a pure joy to spend an afternoon capturing so much laughter and exuberance!  Thank you to the Campbell family!
