Keri-Anne & Steve’s Rocking Lakeside Wedding at Point Breeze

After a marvelous holiday season, I’m elated to begin the year with a post featuring a couple which embraces the excitement found at the start of the New Year!
Kerri-Anne and Steve were married on a gorgeous fall day, over-looking the lake at Point Breeze. The day started off as most do with the girls being girls and the boys, most definitely, being boys. As nuptials time drew near, emotions were running high and the excitement for what was about to happen overtook the couple. There is always a “first” at every wedding I have had the privilege to photograph. For Kerri-Anne and Steve, it was the first time a bride and groom were so engrossed in the other that they had to be reminded what they were there to do!
Everything about the wedding, from the richness of the White, Black and Red color theme to the spirited cake cutting,
reflected the energy and spontaneous nature of this stunning pair!

I love how they laugh…in almost every picture!
The plate that everyone signed was completely covered by the end of the night but the very 1st note on the bottom says it all…

After the fiesty fun with the cake, Keri-Anne had a beautiful dance with her father.

Like many days this summer, the Fourth of July weekend was gorgeous… and warm. Okay… more than warm. It was hot and humid! But weather being what weather will be, it did nothing to stand in the way of a gorgeous celebration!
Erin and Mike were married at their family home. It was the perfect setting for this fun, loving and laid-back couple. Erin was breath-taking in her simple yet elegant gown. She looked like an angel, radiating pure joy and light. Mike was calm, cool and collected. The ever-present jokester with the only chink in his armor being the attentive way he kept watch over his bride – with pride and love.
Is Dad checking out the cake pre-ceremony? Did anyone check to make sure the frosting didn’t have fingerprints in it?
