Aubrey & Corey ~ Married at the Rocks Estate in Bethleham, NH

Every now and then you meet a couple that is so incredibly in love with each other, that they just make each other shine brighter and more beautiful when in each others presence. I met Aubrey and Corey over a year ago and for hours we chatted about their sweet story of how they fell in love and shared all the details over a glass of wine.  She had everything planned out perfectly and knew exactly what they wanted. From the love birds to the lanterns and butterflies…
I knew they were troopers and fantastic with weather mishaps when we did their engagement shoot in the freezing cold last winter, you can see that here!

What we didn’t expect was a surprise visit from Mother Nature to join us for their gorgeous outdoor mountain side wedding…

Now that everyone was ready we were all fretting hoping the rain could just hold off a little longer.  In the meantime we bring you ring security…

There was not a dry eye in the crowd at this very moment…

As the rain fell lightly at first they held hands and smiled at each other, then the skies opened up and they stood their strong, smiling, and just laughed…

It was such a beautiful moment!

The rain held off for the portraits above and then mother nature just couldn’t keep away. Aubrey and Corey still wanted to walk around and get some fantastic images of just the two of them mountainside in the tree farm. I was so excited even though it was raining again! She was so poised and beautiful!

 I love these shots below…

Reception time!

It was truly a beautiful wedding, even with the howling winds and wacky weather. There was even a mini tornado that rolled through that night! But cheers to them!
A couple that proves nothing will stop them from being with each other.

Laura and Adam ~ An Intimate Rye, NH Beach Wedding!

It was a beautiful day for an intimate family wedding! Adam and Laura’s friends and family all gathered at Rye Beach State Park on a overcast and windy day
for a beautiful ceremony followed by an intimate beachside BBQ!
I’m always a fan of outdoor ceremonies and this day through the fog and clouds just as Laura and Adam said their “I do’s”
the sun peeked through the clouds as if mother nature was blessing them! It was absolutely breathtaking!

I loved watching her father and son walk her across the lawn to Adam who was so anxious to make Laura his wife! His expressions were fantastic!

It was such a joy to have the sun come out and one of the most beautiful beach sunsets I’ve ever seen – just in time for their portriats!

Family portrait time!

Many Thanks to the amazing friends and family who helped put everything together so beautifully and elegantly for Laura and Adam.
From the catering to the details with the shells and the sand.

I also have to say a special thank you to my talented friend and second shooter Jeff Newcum.

Congratulations Laura and Adam!!! I wish you a life of love and happiness always!
I can not wait for your next big wedding reception next year!

Tequila, a Sunny Beach, family and good friends.
What better way to get hitched than in Cancun, Mexico for an intimate affair! It was truly beyond paradise for Noel & Mark.
You may remember seeing their brew pub engagement  at Red Hook Brewery.
The day started off with relaxing at the spa and  cocktails for the boys and then it was time to get ready for a windy beach wedding in the gorgeous sunshine!

Noel was a vision! I had to grab this quick shot before we headed out to her first look on the balcony of the Grand Caribe!

Mark wasted no time in welcoming Noel in to his arms on the roof top and then it was time to walk her down the Aisle!

After dancing Dinner and Laughter we also got to spend some time on the beach before heading inside for cocktails and after party shenanigans in the lounge.

Of course we couldn’t resist a few sunset shots…

Congratulations Mark & Noel! What a spectacular time!
It was as exciting as it was entertaining and filled with family, laughter and love!

Michelle & Kevin ~ A Luau Wedding in Bradenton Beach, FL

Last year I had the extreme pleasure of spending the day with Michelle and Kevin as we traveled all over Tampa, Fl around their favorite eclectic hot spots. It was apparent in their Engagement shoot that these two with their high energy and creativity would choose not just any beachside wedding, but a rocking Polynesian Luau complete with South Pacific Island Belly and Warrior Dancers, Fire Twirlers,  and a full Luau show with their rocking reception in a Tiki Hut! What an amazing day it was!

What a gorgeous day it was to be on the beach celebrating Michelle and Kevin. Below is Michelle’s Uncle Hawk who travelled from very far away to give the traditional marriage blessing below with fresh burning sage, purifying the air and blessing them both with love and protection.

The next blessing below is the Shell Toss! Everyone grabbed a shell and made a wish for the happy couple and tossed the cell into the ocean to seal their wishes!

Yes, things were certainly heating up as the sun was going down. Bring on the Fire twirlers!

…and the belly dancers…and warrior dancers!

What wedding wouldn’t be complete without a surprise visit from a monkey to entertain the guests?

What a fantastic day! It was as exciting as it was entertaining and filled with friends, family, laughter and love!
Congratulations to both of you! I am so extremely happy for the two of you and being their to capture your memories of the first day of your new life together!
I wish you both a long life of Love and Happiness!

Hello Yellow! I can’t get enough of the details and choices for today’s post.  I have to give Michelle credit as she put everything together herself; from the personal details to her rocking vendors, she did an amazing job! Michelle and Chris chose to have an intimate wedding with family and friends in a lovely backyard bash
complete with their treasured 4 legged friends Lilly and Tanner!

Michelle made such a beautiful bride, and what makes it more special is that her fantastic stylist sister did the hair and makeup of all the lovely ladies. I love these next images below of her big sister making her perfect and the expression of her father  just watching over!

I also love the pre-wedding family excitement with love, hugs and warm affection before the ceremony!

Right after the ceremony there was a special gift for Michelle and Chris from the ladies.
Everyone was distributed an envelope for a beautiful butterfly release right after their first kiss!

Nothing quite like a Tequila toast in lieu of Champagne!

A little bit of a time out below for the beautiful couple. We just had to utilize this amazing draping apple tree!

Michelle and Chris, congratulations to you both! I wish for you a life of love, happiness and adventure!

Also a big Kudos to the rocking Vendors who helped Michelle put everything together so beautifully!

Stephanie & Melissa ~ Warm & Joyous Fall NH Wedding!

Every wedding I attend, whether as a guest or photographer, is remarkable in its own special way.  There is always something about the couple’s story or the events that occur over the course of the day that stand out and make it even more grand.  And sometimes, it is just the distinct privilege to witness two people, so hopelessly in love with each other, embark on the voyage that is the rest of their lives… together.

Stephanie and Melissa’s day was just such one of these momentous occasions!

From the moment I arrived at Stephanie & Melissa’s home to photograph the getting ready shots, First Look and bridal portraits, I knew the day was going to be amazing.  Everyone was smiling from ear-to-ear!  The excitement for what was to about to occur could be felt everywhere.  There was so much joy and love that there was this sense that nothing could happen that day that could possibly rain on this couple’s parade.

Stephanie & Melissa had a close personal friend marry them, which made the ceremony that much more personal and intimate!

The details were fantastic!  From the paper lanterns, Best Wishes Tree and Mad-Libs on each table, Stephanie & Melissa showered the day with their spunk, personality and warmth!

Stephanie & Melissa – It was SUCH a pleasure to be able to share in your day!  Congratulations!

Keri-Anne & Steve’s Rocking Lakeside Wedding at Point Breeze

January 2, 2011 by

After a marvelous holiday season, I’m elated to begin the year with a post featuring a couple which embraces the excitement found at the start of the New Year!

Kerri-Anne and Steve were married on a gorgeous fall day, over-looking the lake at Point Breeze.  The day started off as most do with the girls being girls and the boys, most definitely, being boys. As nuptials time drew near, emotions were running high and the excitement for what was about to happen overtook the couple.  There is always a “first” at every wedding I have had the privilege to photograph.  For Kerri-Anne and Steve, it was the first time a bride and groom were so engrossed in the other that they had to be reminded what they were there to do!

Everything about the wedding, from the richness of the White, Black and Red color theme to the spirited cake cutting,
reflected the energy and spontaneous nature of this stunning pair!

and off to the ceremony…

The girls were to cute for words…

Kris pointed out this lonely little dock for this fearless duo…

I love how they laugh…in almost every picture!

The plate that everyone signed was completely covered by the end of the night but the very 1st note on the bottom says it all…

A Wedding Blessing.

Sweet Details.

And then the fun continued…

He said she started it…It looks like she finished it to!

After the fiesty fun with the cake, Keri-Anne had a beautiful dance with her father.

This crowd can dance! All Night Long.

Kudos to Kris & Kristen for the great 2nd Shooting!
Stellar dance shots!

The girls again tuckered from an such an amazing night…

What a truly Fantastic Night!
Thank you for the honor of sharing in your happiness!

Congratulations to both of you!

And Props to some rocking Vendors!!!

Sarah & Mike’s Mountainside Wedding at Pat’s Peak!

December 22, 2010 by

My favorite time of year just begins at the end of summer when the days are starting to get shorter, the heat has faded, the air is crisp in the mornings and evenings with just enough difference to let you know something exciting is happening very soon!

It begins the most romantic time of the year! The best place to embrace the end of summer are the gorgeous Mountains in New Hampshire!  Ok, I’m a little biased here,  but I’m sure Sarah and Mike, who we met a few months back in A Woodsy Engagement Post, completely  agree and chose Pat’s Peak Banquet Center for the gorgeous backdrop of their Pink and Green  Mountainside Wedding! It was such a beautiful day as the skies cleared up just in time for the outdoor ceremony.

Check out some of thing amazing details! I can’t get enough of the colors against the birch and rustic interiors!

Sarah getting ready in the beautiful window light with all the girls was just gorgeous, a great job by Stacy Paige
from Walking in Style Salon in Goffstown, NH for her superb updo!

I even almost got teary after her mom wrapped her arms around her right before the ceremony and gave her a very emotional hug before sending her down the aisle!

Mike was great, he was so excited and did not take his eyes off the door waiting for his beautiful bride to be to walk down to him!

The setting…just gorgeous!

Sarah’s mom started the Ceremony off with a beautiful song to Sarah and Mike, From this Moment On by Shania Twain.
I don’t think there was a dry eye on the mountain! Stunning and beautiful barely covers it!

And introducing… Mr. and Mrs. Laponsie…

and the Bridal Party!

I just love the wind blowing up on the Mountain with nothing but clouds and fresh air and romance.

This has got to be one of the coolest wedding cakes from Jacques’ Fine European Pastries I’ve ever seen, elegant, natural matching the couple and the day with such exquisite taste!

What a fantastic night of Love, Laughter, and dancing.
The crowd was great, so lively and excited,  and one of my Favorite DJ’s Dave Nadeau from Main Event got the party rocking from the very first dance all the way through, what a spectacular time!

Congratulations Sarah and Mike! I wish you a life  full of happiness joy and love! Thank you so much for having me capture your wedding day!

Sherri & Mike Wed after an Emotional First Look!

It’s the little details that make the moment great.  The way her eyes glisten and sparkle on that special day.  The way he celebrates with his friends and the tender way he caresses her cheek.  It’s the way they blush with the anticipation of knowing that something marvelous is about to take place!

Sherri & Mike’s wedding was stunning in every manner, from the location to the bridal accessories.  Every detail was lovingly planned and tenderly executed.  They knew what was most important to them and made sure they had the absolute best!  Such attention to detail can only translate into a relationship that takes nothing for granted, that cherishes the smallest of moments and the tiniest of details.  No wonder these two shine so brightly!

As a side note, check out these rocking images by my 2nd shooter, Kris!

The wedding took place at the Inns at Mill’s Falls in Meredith, NH.  It is a fantastic location filled with SO many wonderful details that my creativity runs wild!  I mean a white birch in the Tree House Suite?!?!  LOVE IT!  It was an ideal setting for some outstanding images of one gorgeous dress!

First Looks are becoming increasingly more popular for couples on their wedding day.  It is the perfect opportunity for a Bride and Groom to spend some quality time together in the quiet moments before the guests arrive and festivities begin.  Personally, I love shooting First Looks.  They’re so touching!  Most couples opt for the traditional wedding timeline so imagine my excitement when Sherri said this was something she absolutely had to do!  I almost squealed!

The moment was SO rich with emotion!  And Sherri’s smile…  that gorgeous, glowing smile… refused to leave her face all day!

We had a great time playing with all the outstanding details at the Inn.  For example, this baby grand was just sitting there… waiting for us.  How could we resist the opportunity to create such striking images?

Thank you to all the wonderful vendors for helping to make Sherri & Mike’s day so great!

Sherri & Mike -
Thank you for the honor of sharing in your joy!  May the years ahead of you always be filled with laughter and love!
